When: Monday, March 14, 2022, from 10:30am to 11:55am. Please sign up prior to Friday, March 11!

What: The school would like some KPETS dog teams to visit for pets and smiles. The dogs will meet the emotional support and learning support classroom in the gym lobby from 10:35-11:15. Each handler will then be directed to a classroom to visit from 11:15-11:55. Adults will need to set firm expectations and rules when visiting the classroom. Adults will need to be open minded and keep a calm voice with the students.

COVID Precautions: SITE – The school district requires all adults to wear masks in the building. Some children may have exemptions. KPETS General – Visiting volunteers must have a signed KPETS volunteer agreement COVID-19 addendum on file with KPETS and follow current CDC, state, local and the visit site’s COVID-19 guidelines during each visit.
