Touching Lives, Warming Hearts

Through Human & Animal Interactions

Step Two: Group Evaluation

~Pet must be at least one year old.

~Pets must have lived with handler for at least six months.

~You must have attended a KPETS Orientation Session within the past year.

If two people will be volunteering with the same pet it is recommended that each handler test at a separate group evaluation session.  Many pets get stressed by switching between handlers and/or by the additional time needed to run through each exercise with each handler.

If your pet is not ready, the evaluator will make suggestions on what needs to be worked on. Feel free to practice their suggestions, and try again at a later date.
