When: Wednesday, July 14th, from 10am to 11am. Rain date is July 15th.

What: The Sonshine Child Development Center would like some dog teams and mini equine to visit students. Approx. attendance: 18 children ages 3-5 years. This event will be held outside and chairs will be provided. If it rains, the event will be held on 7/15.

Where: 1060 East Newport Road, Lititz, PA 17543

COVID Precautions: SITE – Temp check and questions.  KPETS General – Visiting volunteers must have a signed KPETS volunteer agreement COVID-19 addendum on file with KPETS and follow current CDC, state, local and the visit site’s COVID-19 guidelines during each visit. A staff person must be present during the entire visit.  Everyone should wash their hands/use hand sanitizer before and after petting the animals. Social distancing must be followed by our handler and participants as much as possible. If participants or our volunteers are uncomfortable at any time or believe the precautions are not being followed they will end the visit immediately for the safety of all. No one should participate if they are feeling at all unwell. Visits may be cancelled at the last minute due to the fluid status of state and local COVID precautions.
