When: Wednesdays – June 29, July 6, July 13, and July 20. We are free to drop in anytime between 9am and 3pm, just call the site to let them know the time you are coming.

What: The IU5 Migrant Education Program, Adams County Summer School of Excellence, serves students who are primarily from migrant or refugee families. The purpose of the program is to help set students up for academic success in upcoming school year. Grades K-12 have the classes broken up into groups of 15 students on average (some classes are smaller, i.e. Kinder will have 5 and some classes are larger, HS will be 23, but they don’t expect all students to attend daily).

COVID Precautions: SITE – Masks are optional. KPETS General – Visiting volunteers must have a signed KPETS volunteer agreement COVID-19 addendum on file with KPETS and follow current CDC, state, local and the visit site’s COVID-19 guidelines during each visit.
