When: The 3rd Wednesday of each month at 10:30am.

What: Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center would like some dog or cat teams to visit with residents on a monthly basis. Approx. Attendance: 40.

Where: 1000 Claremont Road, Carlisle, PA 17013

COVID Precautions: SITE –  Temperature checked at the entrance and signed in. Mask is worn and proper hand sanitizing.  KPETS General – Visiting volunteers must have a signed KPETS volunteer agreement COVID-19 addendum on file with KPETS and follow current CDC, state, local and the visit site’s COVID-19 guidelines during each visit. A staff person must be present during the entire visit.  Everyone should wash their hands/use hand sanitizer before and after petting the animals. As much as possible, social distancing must be followed by our handler and participants. If participants or our volunteers are uncomfortable at any time or believe the precautions are not being followed they will end the visit immediately for the safety of all. No one should participate if they are feeling at all unwell. Visits may be cancelled at the last minute due to the fluid status of state and local COVID precautions.
