What: The Center for Urologic Care of Berks County is having an Employee Appreciation event for their 80 members and are going to be setting up a tent on the lawn. They would like our pet therapy teams to provide some stress relief to staff.

COVID Precautions: COVID Precautions: SITE – Mask must be worn at all times, temperature screening required.  KPETS General – Visiting volunteers must have a signed KPETS volunteer agreement COVID-19 addendum on file with KPETS and follow current CDC, state and local COVID-19 guidelines during each visit. Everyone must wear face coverings and wash their hands/use hand sanitizer before and after petting the animals. Social distancing must be followed with 6ft between our handler and participants. If participants or our volunteers are uncomfortable at any time or believe the precautions are not being followed they will end the visit immediately for the safety of all. No one should participate if they are feeling at all unwell. Visits may be cancelled at the last minute due to the fluid status of state and local COVID precautions.
