What: The senior center would like a casual visit from some therapy dogs to brighten their day. Approx. attendance: 13.

COVID Precautions: SITE – Seniors follow PA Dept. for Aging and CDC COVID guidelines. Senior attendees have been fully vaccinated and/or wear masks. Social distancing is observed. Daily temperatures are taken and health questionnaires are completed. Facility is sanitized. KPETS General – Visiting volunteers must have a signed KPETS volunteer agreement COVID-19 addendum on file with KPETS and follow current CDC, state, local and the visit site’s COVID-19 guidelines during each visit.  A staff person must be present during the entire visit.  Everyone should wash their hands/use hand sanitizer before and after petting the animals. Social distancing must be followed by our handler and participants. If participants or our volunteers are uncomfortable at any time or believe the precautions are not being followed they will end the visit immediately for the safety of all. No one should participate if they are feeling at all unwell. Visits may be cancelled at the last minute due to the fluid status of state and local COVID precautions.
