Touching Lives, Warming Hearts

Through Human & Animal Interactions

Suzy Q Hibshman

Beloved Companion of Patti Jo Hibshman
June 13, 2007 – April 1, 2016

Suzy Q lived her life with gusto. Her favorite activities were swimming and chasing Frisbees. She also enjoyed the time she spent at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center and the Children’s Hospital visiting not only the patients, but the staff, visitors, and the students. Suzy Q was a regular visitor at the Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill. She listened to many young readers at the Palmyra and Frederickson Libraries, and cheered up residents and staff at Lebanon Valley Brethren Homes and Ephrata Manor.

But like so many KPETS volunteers know, she was first my personal therapy dog. She kept me moving and interested in life. Suzy Q was helping me train a new puppy to do Pet Therapy. She touched many lives. She will be missed a great deal. Like the song, “Suzy Q, I love you!”

Thank you to everyone who has given us kind words and messages over the quick passing of Suzy Q from a stroke.

With gratitude to the years of companionship, joy and love.
