When: Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.

What: The Penn State Health Rehab Hospital would like to restart their pet therapy volunteer program. If you are interested, sign up here and then contact the site to set up your orientation to become their volunteer and establish a schedule for regular Wednesday evenings, monthly, bi-monthly, or weekly visits are welcomed. Proof of your pet’s rabies vaccine will be needed.

COVID Precautions: SITE – Current covid guidelines for volunteers at our hospital is to wear a surgical mask. Surgical masks are available upon arrival at our front lobby. In addition, hand hygiene is expected to be completed between pet therapy visits (hand sanitizer provided). KPETS General – Visiting volunteers must have a signed KPETS volunteer agreement COVID-19 addendum on file with KPETS and follow current CDC, state, local and the visit site’s COVID-19 guidelines during each visit.
