2011 has been a tremendous year for KPETS!

• KPETS therapy visits and the demand for our services are at an all-time high and continue to grow.
  
• KPETS registered more than 300 volunteer therapy teams.
  
• Our orientation attendance is greater than ever before and we are offering orientations in a number of new locations.
  
• We initiated a therapy dog training program to our potential volunteers.
  
• The number of facilities served by KPETS is over 200 in our LOCAL communities.
  
• Requests for our visits and services are increasing as our reputation grows.
  
• We are proud to say that there is a KPETS volunteer sharing their pet with someone, somewhere each and every day of the calendar year!


To be able to provide visits to anyone who may benefit from KPETS therapy visits, there is no charge for the thousands of human/animal interaction hours provided by our trained and registered volunteers.
However, this one-of-a-kind service to our local communities does not come without a cost to KPETS. With an annual budget of under $100,000, KPETS is a real bargain for our communities; but funding is a constant challenge. With a staff of 1.5 employees, our key focus is on promoting, coordinating and providing our therapy services, with little time remaining to pursue funding. This is why your on-going and annual sponsorship is imperative to KPETS. Through your support, thousands of friends in our communities will continue to be enriched by the human/animal bond provided by KPETS teams who are Touching Lives - Warming Hearts every day.
