London

Beloved Companion of Joni Soost

November 11, 1999 – May 31, 2006

It is with great sadness that we post this page in honor of London, companion of Joni Soost.
London was truly a blessing to all he met. As a puppy he was raised to be a seeing-eye dog. But due to imperfect hips they could not allow him to further his career in the program. That is when Joni and Jack made London a permanent part of their family.

London was a 7-year old beautiful golden retriever. He was the very FIRST official KPETS registered therapy dog! And what a treasure he has been over the years.
London has participated in the ’04 and ’05 United Way Day of Caring events. He’d been visiting Brethren Village and was also volunteering with a local hospice program faithfully. He participated in reading programs with school children and was one of the PAW PALS, a special needs children’s program, at the Worship Center in Leola, PA.

Joni and London have been very supportive of the KPETS mission in so many ways. This very special, loving, kind, gentle, precious dog will be sorely missed by so many!

London, we love and miss you terribly!
